If you’re looking for a little pick-me-up in Mexico City, a carajillo is what you need. A cocktail originally created in Spain, this punchy combination of espresso coffee and Licor 43 has become one of Mexico’s most-loved serves. Traditionally seen as a worker’s drink, at the turn of the century it found new favour with a younger generation who chose to drink it before heading out to party.
