Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City, unlike the more subdued Hanoi, is a veritable party city, with bars and clubs lining the streets. The Pham Ngu Lao District is known for its kerbside seating areas and cheap beers, so it’s no wonder it’s a hit with the backpacking crowd. For live music and club venues, there’s District1, but for a drink with a view there’s Glow Skybar, one of the most exclusive venues in town. The cocktail trend is yet to catch on here, but the craft beer scene is booming with bars like Belgo, BiaCraft and Rogue Saigon Craft Beer all serving up some great local brews.
