Montreal is often referred to as the unofficial party capital of Canada, and it is easy to see why with so many bars, clubs and restaurants. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the nightlife is not the nightclubs pumping out French techno beats into the early hours, but the chameleonic restaurant scene. Some of the best cocktails in town can actually be found in the top restaurants, and many of these switch their offering from food to drink as the night progresses. With a little less poutine and a little more party, there’s simply no need to bar-hop.
